Mission San Jose High School Delegation visited Shenzhen Middle School in April 2007

 

After 16-member Shenzhen delegation visited Mission San Jose High School in February 2007, USCIEC and Shenzhen Middle School invited 4 delegates, led by Vice Principal Mrs. Sandy Prairie, from Mission San Jose High School to attend a 1-week educational exchange program from April 7 to April 10, 2007 at Shenzhen Middle School in Shenzhen, China entitled “Quality Education in China".

 

During Mission Delegation's visit to Shenzhong, they discussed the following topics with Mr. Zheng Wang, Principal of Shenzhen Middle School, and his staff:

 

  • How to teach science
  • How to retain talented teachers
  • How to evaluate teachers
  • How to attract talented students
  • How to teach gifted students

 

On April 10, 2007, Principal Wang and Vice Principal Prairie signed an agreement in Shenzhen to establish sister-school relationship between Shenzhen Middle School and Mission San Jose High School.

 

After the Mission San Jose Delegation concluded their visit on April 13, 2007, Mrs. Sandy Prairie, Vice Principal of Mission San Jose High School said, "Thank USCIEC for making the visit to Shenzhen memorable. We all had a wonderful time and I appreciate all your coordination efforts."
