Cultural Exchange Program

Senator J. William Fulbright said, “Creative leadership and liberal education are the first requirements for a hopeful future for humankind. Fostering these – leadership, learning, and empathy between cultures – was and remains the purpose of the international scholarship program.”USCIEC works diligently with schools, school districts, universities, institutes and organizations to bridge the cultural gap between China and the United States. Our goals are to:

  • Promote the latest communication technologies into teaching and learning.
  • Globalize classrooms through collaborative projects.
  • Increase student proficiency across subject areas with a focus on literacy.
  • Improve multicultural awareness and promote international understanding.
  • Implement student and teacher exchange programs.

Peace and prosperity in the 21st century depend on increasing the capacity of people to think and work on a global and intercultural basis. As technology opens borders, educational and professional exchange opens minds.
